Fisher-Price Laugh and Learn Fun with Friends Musical Table
I bought this table for Christmas when my daughter was 8 months old. She loved it for the first month until she could cruise around. Since she started walking (at 10 months) she hasn't had much interest in it. I thought she would play more because of the variety it has
music,
button sounds,
talking,
singing. Now at 18 months, she only plays with the detachable phone. It will be moving to storage shortly. On a positive note, other younger kids who visit enjoy it. I would recommend it, but it won't hold interest for up to 36 months of age.
Our boy is now almost 11 months old. We've provided him with
numerous toys and he seems to like the ones involving music the best. One such toy is this
Fisher-Price laugh and learn table. He loved it, right from the start. We first introduced it when he was about six months old and he's never seemed to tire of it. When we first introduced it we left the legs off and let it lie flat in his crib. He crawls over and starts playing the various musical numbers. He switches from one to another song providing an almost non-interupted stream of music. We jokingly say that he's composing. Anyway, he has great fun doing this. At the present time he's standing and walking around the perimeter of the crib. It's time to put the legs on the table and put it out on the floor. I'm sure it will be only a short time before he's standing and composing his music.
Our boy likes the "
Music Time" mode of the play station, almost exclusively. He shows little interest in the "ABCs" or in the "Let's Learn Spanish" modes. Who knows? Maybe he'll change in the future, but ever since this toy first appeared, he loves the tunes. It's a
great toy, one of his favorites.
